About the Image Map
HTML provides a mechanism to form the map image that runs the client side. For example, it is possible to present a map of Indonesia, which lists a number of islands, and if one of the islands is clicked then the information about the island is displayed. Things like this can be done by involving partner <MAP> tag and </ MAP> and tag <img>.
In <img> tag, you need to list the image name which is used as a map (via the SRC attribute) and also the definition of the maps mentioned by USEMAP attributes. The name used to define an area map that can be clicked USEMAP given attribute. The value for this attribute states the name defined in tag <MAP>, namely through the NAME attribute.

The tags are used to define areas on maps that can be clicked is <AREA>. These tags are placed in pairs <MAP> tag and </ MAP>. <AREA> Tag has an attribute called SHAPE, which determines the shape of the area form of a clickable image. In this case the value could be "CIRCLE", "rect", "Polygon". As for the coordinates to determine the form given in COORDS attributes. To specify a URL that will be executed when the corresponding image is clicked, the URL needs to be mentioned in the HREF attribute.

By giving the value "DEFAULT" in SHAPE, you can create a URL called if the user clicks on the picture area which does not contain forms that can be clicked.
